Give each merchant access to its own operation

The WMS merchant portal exposes defined stock and order information scoped to that merchant. Inventory states distinguish available, allocated, receiving, damaged and held quantities.

Merchant hold requests support disabled, approval-required and self-service modes. Configure whether a merchant can act directly or needs a warehouse decision.

Keep carrier coordination focused on appointments

Carrier appointment coordination belongs to SIP’s scheduling offering. It serves a different role from the WMS merchant portal.

The scheduling integration into SIP WMS is coming soon. Booking, appointment changes and supporting information should be scoped against the separate scheduling product today.

Match access to the partner’s responsibilities

A merchant needs its stock and order view. A carrier needs the appointment workflow. Set up each role around the information and actions it needs.

Review the partner and warehouse perspectives together during onboarding, including which requests require approval.

Are carrier and merchant portals the same?

No. They serve different roles. Confirm the account, permissions and product used for each.

Can a merchant see other clients?

The WMS merchant data is scoped to the merchant; this is not unrestricted warehouse access.

Is scheduling already connected to the merchant portal?

This page does not claim that connection. Integration into SIP WMS is coming soon.
